Android IMAP email

Set Up Imap Email on Android in Steps:

  1. Move to Settings ⟶ Accounts ⟶ Add Account.
  2. Press Email and type your email address.
  3. Next, click the button.
  4. Enter your password and then click Next.
  5. Select IMAP.
  6. Setup the income server settings.

    Username: email address

    Password: the password

    IMAP Server: mail.com

    Port: 143

    IMAP path prefix: INBOX

    Security type: STARTTLS

  7. Fill in the required Outgoing server settings, as seen below:

    SMTP server: mail.com
    Port: 587
    Security type: STARTTLS

  8. Check the Automatically (Push) button after creating some general account settings changes.
  9. Continue with the setup through pressing next.

Android Cogeco IMAP Setup

Here are the steps. Android Cogeco IMAP settings:

  1. Start the email program on your Android device.
  2. Fill in your Cogeco email address and password.
  3. Select Manual Setup.
  4. Choose IMAP and enter your server details.
  5. Sign in by tapping the Sign In button.

  8. Move to Mail ⟶ Settings.

Steps to Setup Comcast IMAP on Android

  1. Select My Accounts in the Applications tray.
  2. Click Add Account ⟶ Email.
  3. Select an email address to include.
  4. Enter your username and password.
  5. Comcast can be set up automatically.
  6. Fill in the Incoming Server details as needed.
  7. In the Outgoing Server section, fill in the blanks.
  8. Select OK.

Yahoo IMAP Android

Setup the following incoming and outgoing server settings:

  • IMAP server for Yahoo Mail: imap.mail.yahoo.com
  • IMAP port: 993
  • TLS/SSL help for IMAP: yes
  • IMAP user name: Your entire Yahoo Mail address
  • Password for IMAP: Your Yahoo Mail or device login
  • SMTP server for Yahoo Mail: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
  • SMTP port: 465 (try 587 as an alternative)
  • TLS/SSL for SMTP: yes
  • SMTP username: The whole Yahoo Mail address
  • SMTP password: The Yahoo Mail password

Android pop3 imap

  1. Please enter your email address, password, and username.
  2. Choose Email ⟶ POP3 account.
  3. Enter the required info.
  4. Switch off Security required before sending emails and sign in.
  5. The account is now operational.

Setting up Gmail in Android Imap

  1. Log in to Gmail.
  2. Pick Gmail settings from Gear icon.
  3. Select POP/IMAP and Forwarding.
  4. Click Allow IMAP.
  5. Setup your IMAP device and click the Save Changes button.
  6. Select Email.
  7. Type the email address and password.
  8. Choose Manual Setup ⟶ IMAP account.
  9. IMAP server: imap.gmail.com
  10. Port: 993 or 143
  11. Security type: SSL
  12. Select Next and customize the SMTP settings.

How to Setup IMAP Email in Outlook for Android

  1. Allow Active Sync on the mailbox.
  2. Open the Outlook app, type your full email address, and then press Continue.
  3. Setup the server settings for Exchange.
  4. IMAP ⟶ 993
  5. SMTP ⟶ 587
