If you’re using Internet Explorer, do the following:
- On the right side of the Internet Explorer window, select Tool.
- Select the General tab from the Tools window.
- From the General tab, Go to the Browsing History section and select the Delete option.
- A dialogue box will display; choose Cookies and Temporary Internet Files from the list, then click Delete.
- Click the Security tab, then the Internet option.
- Select the checkbox next to Enable protected mode.
- To close the window, choose Apply and click OK.
- Close the Internet Explorer browser and reopen it.
- You can add AOL to your list of trusted websites. Select Internet choices from the list and click Tools.
- Click the Security tab, then the Trusted Sites Zone button, and then the Sites option.
- To add the URL to the trusted site zone, enter https://*.aol.com in the given field.
- Click Add, and then OK.
- Restart Internet Explorer.
- Open the Mozilla Firefox browser and choose the three-dot symbol on the right side of the screen.
- From the menu that appears, select Help.
- When the help menu appears, deactivate the add-ons tick.
- A new window will appear; select the option Start in safe mode.
- Restart the browser to see whether the Blerk problem 1 in AOL MAIL persists.
Save AOL as a bookmark
- Start Google Chrome and type the AOL URL into the address box.
- If you click the star symbol next to the address bar, the AOL URL is stored in your bookmarks folder.
- Launch the Mozilla Firefox web browser.
- In the address bar, type the AOL URL.
- When you click the star symbol next to the address bar, the AOL URL is saved in your bookmarks folder.

- Open the Safari web browser.
